This versatile and capable tool is packed with great features like an Innovative Optical Lens that provides accurate measurements over a wide temperature range; a Laser Pointer to easily define the target area to be measured; and an Extendable Temperature Range facilitated by a thermocouple interface that can extend the temperature range up to 1999°F. Simple and easy to operate - just point at the desired target and press the trigger button for a fast, 0.5 second, temperature reading. Set alarm temperatures (Low and High Temperatures) to receive alert information when you are measuring out of range. Multiple built-in temperature modes - Maximum (MAX), Minimum (MIN), Difference (DIF), and Average (AVG) provide the exact information you need to get the job done. Visual low battery indication gives you the ability to change batteries before they fail. Requires two AAA batteries. Measurement ranges: -76 to +932°F (-60 to +500°C) - Infrared, +83.2 to +1999°F (-64 to +1400°C) - Thermocouple. 18 hour battery life (typical).
